The first step in removing suntan lotion stains is to rinse and blot the stained area of the flannel clothing. As soon as possible, use cold water to rinse the stain, and pat dry with a clean towel. Make sure not to scrub fabric, as this can cause the stain to set in even further.

Next, make a paste out of baking soda and hydrogen peroxide. The ratio should be roughly 3 to 1, with three parts baking soda and one part hydrogen peroxide. You can also add a drop of mild detergent to this mixture if desired. Apply this paste directly onto the stain, and let sit for 10-15 minutes.

Once paste has been on the stain long enough, use a brush to gently scrub the area until all of residue is gone. Finally, rinse the entire area once more with cold water and pat dry with a clean towel. Repeat this process multiple times if needed, until the stain has been removed from the flannel clothing.

By following these steps, you can easily remove suntan lotion stains from your flannel clothing in no time. Enjoy the summer sun without worrying about staining your clothes!
