Step 1: Blot

Use a paper towel or rag to blot up any excess suntan lotion that is still wet. This will prevent the suntan lotion from spreading any further and help remove some of the excess liquid.

Step 2: Apply Rubbing Alcohol

Apply some rubbing alcohol to a rag and try to gently scrub the stain in a circular motion. Be sure not to scrub too hard as the alcohol can damage the fabric.

Step 3: Rinse

Rinse the fabric with warm water to remove any rubbing alcohol residue.

Step 4: Wash

If stain persists, put the fabric in the washing machine. For extra cleaning power, you can add some laundry detergent and bleach to the load.

Step 5: Dry

Once the canvas bag is washed and dried, inspect for any remaining stains. If there are still any stubborn stains, repeat steps 1-4.
