Gather Your Tools

The best way to start is by having all of your supplies on hand. You will need a few household items to restore your camisole back to its pre-stained glory.

  • A clean cloth or rag
  • Liquid detergent
  • White vinegar
  • A flat scrub brush
  • Baking soda
  • Hydrogen peroxide

Removing the Stain

The first step is to blot the affected area with the clean cloth or rag. This will help to absorb as much of the lotion as possible.

Now you’re ready to start treating stain. Mix a solution of 1 tablespoon of liquid detergent and 1 tablespoon of white vinegar with 1 quart of warm water. Use scrub brush to apply the solution to the stain. Let it sit for 10 minutes before rinsing thoroughly.

If the stain is still visible, you can try using a paste made from baking soda and hydrogen peroxide. Spread the paste over the stain and let it sit for 15 minutes before rinsing it off. Repeat as necessary until the stain has completely disappeared.

Conclusion

Getting suntan lotion stains out of a camisole doesn’t have to be a difficult task. With a few simple household items and a bit of elbow grease, you can restore your beloved camisole back to its original condition in no time.
