Before you start the cleaning process, you’ll want to pre-soak boxers by filling a sink or bucket with cold water and a few tablespoons of white vinegar. Let boxers soak for 30 minutes before proceeding to the next step.
Once boxers have had time to soak, empty the container and fill it with cold water again. Add a mild detergent, like a baby shampoo or natural soap, and swish the boxers around to create suds. Let the boxers sit in the soapy water for 15 minutes.
After the boxers have been soaking in the soapy water, rinse them off thoroughly in cold water. Make sure to get all of the soap out of the fabric before moving on to the next step.
Once the boxers are rinsed off, lay them flat on a dry towel and use a stain remover to spot treat any remaining suntan lotion stains. Follow the directions on the packaging and let the product set for the recommended time.
Finally, hang the boxers up to air-dry and keep an eye on them for any remaining suntan lotion stains. If there are any left, repeat steps 4 and 5 until the stains have been completely removed.
That’s all there is to it! With just a few simple steps, you can easily remove suntan lotion stains from your boxers. So go ahead and enjoy the sunshine knowing that your boxers will be free of unsightly stains.
