White vinegar is a great natural remedy and can be used to remove suntan lotion stains from your bottoms. First, rinse off as much of the excess suntan lotion as possible with water. Then, pour white vinegar liberally onto the stain and let it sit for 10-15 minutes. After the time has passed, rinse with cold water and repeat if necessary until the stain is gone.
Another method for removing suntan lotion stains is to use liquid dish soap. Using a soft bristled brush, apply liquid dish soap directly to the stain and scrub gently. Allow the soap to set for 1-2 minutes before washing off with cold water. Repeat as necessary until the stain is gone.
Borax can also be a helpful tool for eliminating suntan lotion stains. To use, mix one part borax to three parts warm water until it forms a paste. Apply the paste to the stain and let sit for 15 minutes. Rinse with cold water and then wash normally in the washing machine. Be sure to check that the stain is completely gone before putting your bottoms in the dryer!
By following the methods outlined above, you will be able to easily and quickly remove suntan lotion stains from your bottoms. With these tips and tricks, you can confidently take on summer sun without worrying about pesky stains ruining your favorite swimwear.
