The first step in removing a suntan lotion stain is to scrape off any excess product that has adhered to the fabric. Use a spoon or dull knife to delicately scrape the product away. Be sure not to press down too hard, or you may risk damaging the fabric.
Once the excess product has been removed, you can begin to apply the stain remover of your choice. Be sure to carefully read the instructions on product to make sure it is safe for use on Angora. Most commercial stain removers should be safe, but it is always better to be safe than sorry.
Once stain remover has been applied, rinse garment thoroughly with cold water. It may be necessary to repeat this process several times before the stain is completely gone. Be patient and don't give up!
Once the stain is gone, simply launder garment as usual in warm water. Air-dry or tumble-dry on low heat.
Removing suntan lotion stains from Angora can be a challenging task, but it doesn't have to be. With a few simple steps and some patience, you can make those pesky stains quickly disappear!
