But don't worry! We have the solution to this pesky problem right here. In just a few simple steps, you can get rid of those annoying sunscreen stains and restore your alpaca clothing back to its former glory.
First, you'll need to get together some supplies. You'll need a bowl filled with warm water, a mild detergent such as Woolite, a white cloth, and some hydrogen peroxide or another oxygen-based cleaner.
Once you have your supplies ready, it's time to start pre-treating the stain. Start by lightly dampening the cloth with water and wringing it out. Then, apply a small amount of your mild detergent to the cloth and dab at the stain. Be sure not to scrub, as this may cause the stain to set in further.
Next, you'll want to soak the stained area in warm water for around 30 minutes. This will help to loosen and lift the stain from the fabric. Once the time is up, gently scrub the area with the cloth and detergent mixture, taking care not to scrub too hard.
Once you have scrubbed area, apply a small amount of OxiClean or another oxygen-based cleaner to the cloth. Gently dab the cleaner onto the stain and let sit for 30 minutes. This will help to break down the oils in the suntan lotion, making them easier to remove.
After the vinegar has had time to work, rinse the area with cold water and blot dry with a clean cloth. Your alpaca clothing should be good as new!
