Whether you’re opening a bottle of bubbly to celebrate a special occasion or just enjoying a glass of champagne with friends, accidents do happen. Unfortunately, sparkling wine spills can leave behind an unsightly stain on windows and other surfaces.

But don’t worry; we have some effective cleaning tips that can help you get rid of those annoying sparkling wine stains from your windows. Here’s what you need to do:

Materials Needed

  • Paper towels or clean cloth
  • Warm water
  • White vinegar
  • Dishwashing liquid
  • Rubbing alcohol (optional)

Instructions

  1. Take a paper towel or cloth and gently blot stained area to absorb as much liquid as possible.
  2. In a bowl, mix one part white vinegar and one part warm water. Dip a clean cloth into the solution and gently rub it onto the stained window to loosen the stain.
  3. Rinse the stained area with warm water. Repeat steps two and three until the stain is no longer visible.
  4. If the stain persists, mix a few drops of dishwashing liquid in a bowl of warm water and use a damp cloth to scrub the stained area.
  5. If you still can’t remove the stain with regular household cleaners, try rubbing alcohol. Dip a clean cloth into the solution and scrub the affected area. Be sure to rinse thoroughly afterwards to remove any residue.

With these simple tips, you can easily and quickly remove sparkly wine stains from your windows. Keep these instructions handy for future use, and you’ll be able to enjoy your glass of bubbly without worry.
