Removing Stains with Solutions

The first step in cleaning a wallet stained by sparkling wine is to prepare a solution to break down the stain. This can be done in two ways: one using mild laundry detergent and the other using white vinegar.

  • Using Laundry Detergent: Mix a teaspoon of a mild laundry detergent in a small bowl of lukewarm water; stir and have the solution ready.
  • Using White Vinegar: Mix two tablespoons of white vinegar with a cup of water. Stir and have the solution ready.

Application of Solutions

After solutions have been prepared, you should take a soft cloth and dip it in the solution. Carefully use the cloth to gently rub on the stained area until the stain is removed.

Once stain has been eliminated, rinse the cloth and use it with plain, cold (not hot)water to wipe off any remaining solution from the wallet.

Drying the Wallet

Allow the wallet to dry in a shaded area. Remember not to expose it to direct sunlight, as this will decrease its lifespan. After the wallet is completely dry, it can be put back into use.
