Instructions
- If the tunic is washable, check the care label and follow the instructions provided.
- If the tunic is dry clean-only, move on to step three.
- Gently blot the sparkling wine stain with a soft white cloth soaked in club soda. Blot until all of excess liquid is absorbed. Do not rub or scrub, as this may cause the stain to spread.
- Mix one tablespoon of white vinegar with one cup of warm water and use this mixture to blot the stain. Blot until the entire stain is removed, then rinse with cold water.
- Create a solution of one tablespoon of liquid laundry detergent and one quart of cool water and use it to blot the stain. Blot until stain is gone.
- If the stain persists, mix one tablespoon of hydrogen peroxide with two tablespoons of borax powder and one cup of warm water. Blot the stain until it is gone.
- Allow the tunic to air dry and inspect the area. If the stain remains, repeat steps three through six until stain is removed.
