How to Remove Sparkling Wine Stains from Your T-Shirt in 4 Simple Steps

Accidents happen and if you find yourself with a sparkling wine stain on your favorite t-shirt, don’t despair! You can get rid of that stain quickly and easily with just a few household items.

Here’s what you’ll need:

• Dishwashing Liquid
• Salt
• Bowl or cup
• White cloth or sponge

Step 1: Pre-treat the Stain

Mix together a solution of one teaspoon of dishwashing liquid and two tablespoons of salt dissolved in one cup of warm water. Apply this solution to the stained area and gently rub it into fabric.

Step 2: Soak Stain

Soak the stained area in same solution for 10 minutes. Then blot the area with a white cloth or sponge to remove the excess moisture.

Step 3: Wash the Shirt

Wash the t-shirt as normal in a washing machine. If the stain is still visible, repeat steps 1 and 2 before putting it back in the washing machine.

Step 4: Dry Shirt

Once it is out of the washing machine, dry shirt in an area with direct sunlight. The sun can help to naturally bleach the stain, making it less noticeable.
