Fortunately, removing sparkling wine stains from your spandex clothes is easier than you might think. The first step is to act quickly as wine stains can set in quickly.

To start, you'll want to blot away any excess liquid with a paper towel or soft cloth. Take care not to rub the stain in further, as this will only make it worse. Once the excess liquid has been removed, the next step is to create a cleaning solution. To do this, mix one tablespoon of laundry detergent with 2 cups of cold water.

Next, dip a soft rag or sponge into the cleaning solution and dab it onto the stain. You don't want to scrub the stain away as this can cause more damage. Gently dab the solution onto the stain to ensure that the fibers are not damaged. Allow the cleaning solution to sit on the stain for 10 minutes before rinsing with cold water.

Once stain has been saturated with water and detergent, rinse with cold water. You may need to repeat this process several times to completely remove the stain. Once stain has been removed, allow the fabric to air dry - do not put it in the dryer. Once dry, the spandex should look as good as new!
