The first thing to do is to blot the stain with a cloth or paper towel and apply cold water – don’t rub it into the fabric as that could make things worse. Ideally, you should rinse entire fabric in cold water before applying a special cleaning solution to affected area.

To make the cleaning solution, mix 2 teaspoons of a mild detergent with 2 cups of lukewarm water. You can also add a few drops of white vinegar for extra cleaning power.

Dampen a clean cloth with solution and use it to gently dab away at the stain, moving towards the middle of affected fabric. If stain persists, use a soft toothbrush or cotton swab to gently scrub the area. Rinse the fabric after each treatment and check to see if the Stain is still visible. If it is, you can repeat the process until it's gone.

Once you’ve finished, you can either handwash the entire item of clothing in cool water, or simply machine-wash it as per usual. Make sure to finish by air drying – no heat as this could cause the Stain to set in permanently.

And that's it – you're all done! With a little patience and right approach, you can get those pesky sparkling wine stains out of silk nylon without any hassle.
