3 Steps to Get Sparkling Wine Stains Out of Silk Charmeuse
A night out can quickly take a turn for the worse when a glass of sparkling wine spills on your favorite silk charmeuse dress. Don’t panic - with the right approach, you can get that stain out in three easy steps.

Step 1: Blot the Stain
Using a white cloth, gently blot the area where the sparkling wine spilled until no more of liquid can be removed. Depending on how much of the spilled liquid seeps through the fabric, you may need to move onto the next step quickly.
Step 2: Treat the Stain with Soap and Water
Mix warm water and laundry soap to create a solution. Dab a clean cloth into the mixture, then gently scrub the stained area. Do not rub it vigorously as this might damage the delicate silk fabric. After scrubbing, rinse the area with warm water.
Step 3: Rinse and Repeat
If the stain persists, repeat the previous two steps.
