How to Easily Remove Sparkling Wine Stains from Pumps

Sparkling wine stains can be a challenge to remove, especially when they have been left on clothing pumps. However, with the right techniques and materials, it is possible to effectively clean sparkling wine stains from your shoes.

Materials Needed

  • Spray bottle
  • White vinegar
  • Baking soda
  • Dry cloth
  • Soft-bristled toothbrush

Instructions

  1. Fill the spray bottle with white vinegar and spray the stained area of the shoe.
  2. Sprinkle baking soda over stained area and allow it to sit for one hour so that it can absorb the stain.
  3. Using the soft-bristled toothbrush, gently scrub the stained area of the shoe in a circular motion.
  4. Rinse the shoe with lukewarm water.
  5. Using dry cloth, thoroughly dry the shoe.

Tips

  • If some of the stain remains, repeat steps 1-5 until stain is gone.
  • Always spot-test any cleaning product or solution on an inconspicuous area of the shoe before using it.
  • Be sure to use a soft-bristled toothbrush only, as any other type of brush may damage the material of the shoe.
