Step 1: Blotting the Stain

Using a clean cloth or paper towel, start by blotting the area with the stain. This will remove most of liquid that's spilled on it. Keep repeating this process until the cloth isn’t picking up anymore liquid. You may need to use several cloths or paper towels for this.

Step 2: Treating the Stain

In a bowl, mix one part white vinegar with two parts water. Apply this solution to the stained area of the shoe and let it sit for 15 minutes. This will help loosen the stain for easier removal.

Step 3: Cleaning the Stain

Dip a clean cloth into soapy water and rub over the stained area in circular motions. You may need to do this a few times to ensure that the stain is completely removed. After, rinse the soap off with water.

Step 4: Drying Shoe

Use paper towels to dry the area where the stain was and leave the shoes to air dry. To speed up the drying process, you can place the shoes next to a fan or place them outside in direct sunlight.
