Treating Fresh Stains
- Turn the pullover inside out and use a cloth or paper towel to blot away any excess liquid.
- Mix a solution of 1/4 teaspoon of liquid laundry detergent and 1 cup cold water. Soak stain in the solution for 15 minutes before rinsing clean.
- If stain remains, mix a solution of 1 tablespoon of white vinegar and 1 cup warm water and soak the stained area for 15 minutes.
- Rinse the pullover thoroughly in cold water before allowing it to air-dry.
Treating Dried Stains
- Soak the stained area in a solution of equal parts white vinegar and warm water for 15 minutes.
- Rub the stained area gently with a scrub brush to loosen the residue.
- Rinse the pullover with cold water and then wash as normal.
