What Separates Prada Fabrics from Other Materials?

Prada fabrics are designed to not only look great but last for a long time too. They are usually made from heavy-duty materials like cotton and polyester blends, or luxurious natural fibres like linen, wool and silk.

These fabrics are also generally treated with a Teflon finish that helps to prevent stains from setting. That's why it is important to act quickly when faced with a sparkling wine stain!

Steps for Cleaning a Sparkling Wine Stain from Prada Fabrics

  1. As soon as you notice the stain, blot it with a cloth or a paper towel to absorb as much of the liquid as possible.
  2. Mix together ¼ teaspoon of mild detergent with 250ml of warm water. Using a clean cloth, dab the mixture onto the stain, repeating the process until the stain starts to fade.
  3. Once the stain has been removed, rinse the area with a damp cloth and cool water.
  4. Finally, allow the fabric to air dry or use a clothes dryer on the lowest heat setting.

Tips for Preventing Future Stains on Prada Fabric

  • Do not use any harsh solvents, bleach or abrasive cleaners on Prada fabrics.
  • Always read the care label before attempting to clean fabric.
  • If possible, avoid allowing liquids like drinks and cooking oils to come into contact with the fabric.
  • When dealing with sticky foods, scrape off any excess and immediately soak up any remaining liquid with a cloth.
