When cleaning sparkling wine stains from your cookware, you'll want to start with a nylon scrub brush. A nylon brush is gentler than steel or wire brushes, and won't scratch or damage surface of your cookware. Use a mixture of soap and water on the brush and scrub out the stain until it's gone. You may also need to use some baking soda, which will help break down the acidic nature of the wine and make cleaning easier.

If the stain is not coming out with the scrub brush, you may need to use something stronger like white vinegar. White vinegar is an effective cleaning agent and can also neutralize any odors that come from the wine stain. Use a cloth to apply the vinegar to the stain and let it sit for a few minutes before scrubbing again. Just be sure to rinse the affected area with water afterward to prevent any lingering vinegar smell.

If the stain still won't come out, you may need to turn to heavier-duty chemicals like bleach. To do this safely, combine one part bleach to 10 parts water in a bucket. Dip a cloth into this solution and rub stain gently until it's gone. Rinse the area with plain water afterwards and make sure to wear gloves to protect your hands.

Sparkling wine stains can be a tricky thing to remove, but if you use the right techniques, you can get your cookware looking good as new!
