The first step is to blot up as much liquid as possible. Grab a clean cloth and gently press down on the stain. Don’t scrub or rub the fabric, as this could make the stain worse.
Once the liquid has been blotted up, mix a small amount of liquid detergent with cold water. Dip a clean cloth in the mixture, then use it to dab the stained area.
Rinse the area with cold water and blot the fabric with a fresh cloth. Repeat this process until the detergent is completely washed away.
If stain hasn’t come out yet, try applying some white vinegar to the area. Simply soak a cloth in vinegar, then place it over stain. Allow the vinegar to work its magic for a few minutes, then rinse off with cold water.
If the stain still won’t budge, try using a dry cleaning solvent. Before using, make sure to read directions on the package and test a hidden spot first to make sure it won’t damage the fabric.
