What You'll Need

Steps to Take
- Once you've noticed the stain, it is important to act immediately. Use a paper towel to absorb as much of liquid as possible.
- Saturate a cotton swab with rubbing alcohol and gently dab the stained area.
- Continue blotting until the sparkling wine is no longer visible. The rubbing alcohol will also help reduce the smell.
- If stain is still present, use a cotton swab soaked in hydrogen peroxide and apply directly to the stain.
- Allow the hydrogen peroxide to sit for up to 15 minutes before wiping it away with a dry cloth.
Additional Tips:
- Be sure to avoid scrubbing or vigorously rubbing the stain as this may cause damage to the fabric of the shoe.
- For tougher stains, you can try mixing one part detergent with five parts water and gently dab at the stain with a cloth.
- If the stain is still present after following these steps, it is best to seek professional cleaning services.
