No one wants to deal with annoying stains on their favorite Nike shoes. Whether you accidentally stepped in the punch bowl or your wineglass tipped over, we have some tried and tested tips for getting those pesky sparkling wine stains out of your Nikes.

Step 1: Blot

The first step is to remove as much of liquid as you can by blotting at the stain with a clean cloth. Be sure not to rub the stain as this could cause it to spread even more.

Step 2: Soak

Once you’ve removed as much liquid as possible, you can start to treat the stain. Fill a bowl with lukewarm water and add a few drops of mild detergent (make sure to check the label of your detergent to make sure it’s suitable for use on fabrics!). Dip the stained area into the soapy water and leave it to soak for a few minutes.

Step 3: Scrub

Once the fabric has had a chance to soak up the soapy mixture, take a soft-bristled brush and gently scrub at the stain.

Step 4: Rinse & Repeat

Rinse the fabric with cold water and repeat steps two and three if necessary.

And there you have it – your Nike shoes are looking clean and sparkling wine free once again!
