Removing a sparkling wine stain from mules requires a few specific products and steps. The first thing you need to do is soak a clean cloth in a mixture of equal parts of water and white vinegar. Gently dab the stained area until it has been completely saturated. Let it sit for about 10 minutes before drying with a clean cloth or paper towel.
Once the first step is complete, make a mixture of ¼ cup of liquid dish soap and ½ cup of hydrogen peroxide. Gently massage the soap into the stain and let sit for 10 minutes. Rinse with cold water and repeat as necessary.
If the stain persists, you can try using a gentle bleach solution. Mix 1 tablespoon of plain bleach with ¼ cup of water and apply directly onto the stain. Let it sit for 10 minutes, then rinse with cold water. Repeat as necessary.
It’s important to note that these solutions are only meant to be used on light-colored mules. Also, be sure to test the solution in an inconspicuous area first to make sure that it does not damage the fabric. Finally, always read the cleaning instructions for your mules before attempting to remove any stains.
