What You'll Need
- Liquid laundry detergent
- White vinegar
- A clean white cloth
- Clean sponges
- Cold water
Directions: Removing the Stain
- As soon as possible, rinse area that has been stained with cold water.
- Prepare a mixture of one tablespoon liquid laundry detergent and one tablespoon of white vinegar with two cups of cold water.
- Using a clean white cloth, dab at the stained area using the detergent-vinegar solution, making sure to avoid too much rubbing.
- Use a clean sponge to blot away excess moisture. Make sure to apply pressure as you blot to lift as much of stain away as possible.
- Rinse the area again with cold water, and then use clean sponge to blot away any remaining moisture.
- Once dry, you can treat the area with a stain remover or enzyme pre-soak product if needed.
