To remove sparkling wine stains from Keds, begin by dabbing the affected area gently with a cloth dampened with lukewarm water and a mild detergent. Then, apply a heavy-duty fabric cleaner, such as Zout or Nanol®, directly onto stained fabric and allow it to sit for a few minutes. Finally, rinse stained area with cool water, and repeat the process until the sparkling wine stain is gone.

If you're looking for an all-natural solution, try soaking the stained fabric in a mixture of equal parts baking soda and cold water for an hour before rinsing with cool water. This should help to lift stain from the fabric so you can wash Keds as normal.

As a general rule of thumb, always test any cleaning technique – whether it be a store-bought or all-natural solution – on a hidden area of the Keds first to ensure no further damage is caused. Additionally, never rub stained fabric too vigorously, as this can weaken the fabric and damage the leather or canvas.
