What You'll Need:

  • Cold water
  • Salt
  • White vinegar
  • Dish soap

Step by Step Instructions

  1. Start by blotting stain with a clean, soft cloth and cold water.
  2. Sprinkle salt on stain and leave it to sit for 15 minutes.
  3. Mix together equal parts of white vinegar and dish soap.
  4. Using a clean cloth, apply the vinegar solution to the stain.
  5. Gently rub the area to loosen the stain.
  6. Rinse the stain thoroughly with cold water.
  7. Repeat step 2 until the stain is completely gone.

Tips For Prevention

  • Always wear dark clothes when drinking sparkling wine.
  • Blot any spills with a paper towel immediately.
  • Pour sparkling wine over an ice cube to minimize splashing.
