How to Get Sparkling Wine Stains Out of Jacquard?

What You Need

  • Baking soda
  • Lemon juice
  • Salt
  • White vinegar
  • Hydrogen peroxide
  • Cotton cloth or paper towels

Instructions

  1. Gently blot the sparkling wine with a clean cloth or paper towel to absorb as much of the liquid as possible.
  2. Make a paste by mixing 1 tablespoon of baking powder, 1 tablespoon of lemon juice, 1 teaspoon of salt and 2 cups of white vinegar in a bowl.
  3. Dip the cloth or paper towel into the paste and apply to the stain. Leave it on for 10-15 minutes until the paste has dried.
  4. Once the paste has hardened, brush it off gently.
  5. Using a cotton cloth, apply a few drops of hydrogen peroxide to the stain and rub gently until stain fades away.
  6. Repeat the above steps if the stain doesn't completely disappear.
  7. Rinse area with water and let it air-dry.
