Step 1: Blot the Stain Immediately

When approaching a stain on guipure lace, it's important to act fast. Dab gently at the stain with a clean cloth or paper towel to sop up as much liquid as possible. Do not rub or scrub the fabric, as this may damage the delicate lace.

Step 2: Soak Lace in cool Water

Once excess liquid has been blotted away, submerge the stained area of fabric in cool water. Allow the material to soak for 15-20 minutes and then rinse with cool water. This will help to loosen any remaining stains.

Step 3: Use a Stain Remover

After rinsing fabric, apply a small amount of stain remover to affected area. Gently rub the remover into fabric with your fingers and then let it sit for 10 minutes. Next, dab the stained area with a damp cloth and rinse away the excess residue. Repeat this process until the stain is gone.

Step 4: Dry the Fabric

Once the stain has been removed, lay the fabric flat on a clean towel and allow it to air dry. Do not put guipure lace in the dryer, as this could cause the delicate fibers to shrink or become misshapen.
