Sparkling wine is delicious, but unfortunately, it can also be quite messy. If you're wearing clothing from Forever 21 and you find yourself in the unfortunate situation of having to clean off sparkling wine stains, it's important to act quickly. Read on for a step-by-step guide on how to clean those unsightly marks from your Forever 21 clothes.
The first step in cleaning up a sparkling wine stain is to blot up as much of the moisture as quickly as possible. More moisture will only make stain bigger, so grab some white towels or paper towels and press them onto the stain to absorb the liquid.
Once you’ve blotted as much of the liquid as possible, you can pre-treat stain by first rinsing the area with a solution of club soda. Alternatively, you can mix a solution of 2 parts water, 1 part vinegar and rub it onto the stained area. Both of these solutions will help to break down the stain before laundering garment.
At this point, you can finally launder garment according to the fabric care instructions listed on the item. When it comes time to actually wash item, be sure to use a detergent that's specifically designed for tough stains, such as OxiClean, Biz, or Zout. It’s also important to wash the garment on its own, and don’t forget to use cold water instead of hot.
Once cleaning process is finished, take a look at the garment and check if there are any remaining stains. If there are, you may need to treat the area with another round of club soda or vinegar and water. Once the stains are gone, let the garment air dry.
