How to Clean Sparkling Wine Stains from Flannel Easily

Accidents happen and there's no getting around it. If you've ever found yourself with a sparkling wine stain on your favorite flannel, don't panic - here are the steps to take to clean it up!

What You'll Need

  • White vinegar
  • Water
  • Liquid detergent
  • Microfiber cloth

Steps

  1. Mix one tablespoon of white vinegar with two cups of warm water in a bowl.
  2. Add a few drops of liquid detergent to the bowl.
  3. Soak the stained area in solution for a few minutes.
  4. Gently rub the stained area with a microfiber cloth until the stain lifts.
  5. Rinse the area with cold water.
  6. Allow the fabric to air dry completely.

Additional Tips

  • If you're unable to get the stain out with this method, try using a commercial wine or spot remover.
  • Be sure to pre-test any stain remover on an inconspicuous area of your flannel before using it.
  • For tough stains, repeat steps 1 through 6 until the stain is fully gone.
