Method 1: Dish Soap and Cold Water

The first method of removing a sparkling wine stain from denim is to use dish soap and cold water. Begin by mixing a few drops of dish soap with cold water in a bucket. Dip a cloth into soapy water and dab the stain. Avoid rubbing the stain as this can cause it to spread further. Rinse the cloth in the water and then use it to blot stain until it disappears.

Method 2: White Vinegar and Water

Another option is to mix equal parts white vinegar and water in a bowl. Dip a cloth into the mixture and blot stain until it starts to fade. Once the stain has started to diminish, rinse the cloth in cold water and then use it to blot the remaining stain. Finally, allow the garment to air dry.

Method 3: Hydrogen Peroxide

Hydrogen peroxide can also be used to treat sparkling wine stains on denim. Begin by mixing one part hydrogen peroxide with two parts water in a bowl. Using a cloth, dab the mixture onto stain. Allow it to sit for up to 30 minutes before rinsing with cold water. Finally, allow the garment to air dry.

Method 4: Baking Soda and White Vinegar

Mix together two tablespoons of baking soda and two tablespoons of white vinegar in a bowl. Apply the mixture to the stained area and allow it to sit for up to an hour before rinsing with cold water. Finally, air dry the garment.

Method 5: Rubbing Alcohol and Water

For tougher stains, mix equal parts rubbing alcohol and water in a bowl. Dip a cloth into the mixture and gently scrub the stain until it fades. Rinse the cloth in cold water and continue to blot the area until the stain is gone. Finally, allow garment to air dry.
