It doesn't take much effort or time to remove a sparkling wine stain from fabric. All you need is the following:

  • White vinegar
  • Dish detergent
  • Borax powder
  • Dry-cleaning solvent

Start by soaking up as much of the sparkling wine as possible using a paper towel or a clean cloth. Once the majority has been absorbed, rinse the area with cold water and pat area dry.

If there is still a significant stain remaining, do following:

  1. Mix together a solution of one part white vinegar and one part water. Using a clean cloth, dab the stained area with this solution.
  2. Apply a small amount of dish detergent directly to the stain and let it sit for 15 minutes.
  3. After 15 minutes, rinse stained area with cold water and pat dry.
  4. If the stain is still visible, mix together a solution of one tablespoon Borax and one cup warm water. Sponge the area with this solution and let it sit for 30 minutes.
  5. Finally, if there is still a slight stain remaining, apply a few drops of dry-cleaning solvent and let it sit for 10 minutes. Blot area with a clean cloth.

Once you have completed these steps, the sparkling wine stain should be gone! Be sure to wash the item separately, as some detergents may make the stain worse if used on the same cycle with other garments.

Remember, the key is to act quickly when removing a sparkling wine stain from business attire. The sooner you start the stain removal process, the easier it will be to get the stubborn stain out!
