Eradicate Sparkling Wine Stains from Briefs in No Time

A spilled glass of sparkling wine can dampen any celebratory mood, especially when that stain remains on your briefs. But don’t despair—there’s no need to throw away your favorite pair of underwear! You should be able to clean up sparkling wine stains without much difficulty.
Step 1: Act Fast
If you catch the stain right away, you’ll have better luck removing it. Start by rinsing fabric with cold water and blotting it dry with a paper towel. Then, pour a generous amount of undiluted liquid laundry detergent onto the stain and wait fifteen minutes. Do not rub the fabric while you wait.
Step 2: Soak the Stain
Once the fifteen-minute timer has gone off, fill a container with cold water and add a few tablespoons of laundry detergent. Place the stained area of the brief into the container and let it soak for an hour.
Step 3: Rinse and Wash
After an hour, take the brief out of the container and rinse it in cold water. Then, toss it into the washing machine with a mild laundry detergent and wash as usual. Once done, hang your briefs up to air-dry.
