The best way to remove sparkling wine stains from a bikini is to treat it as soon as possible. Start by running the area under cold water and then dabbing the stain with a damp cloth. Once the bulk of the stain has been lifted, use a mixture of detergent, bleach or vinegar and salt to gently scrub away the remaining stain.
You can also clean swimming costume stains with a mild dishwashing liquid or shampoo solution. Add one part of your chosen cleaning product to three parts warm water and mix until it forms a bubbly lather. Apply the lather over the stained area and gently rub the material together. Rinse the area and repeat if necessary.
If the stain persists, try using a white vinegar and water mixture. Start by rinsing area under cold water and then blotting it dry with a paper towel. Then, mix equal parts of white vinegar and water. Dip a clean cloth into mixture and apply it to stained area. Scrub the mixture in and let it sit for about fifteen minutes.
Once the mixture has set, rinse the bikini under cold water and let it air dry. If the stain persists after this process, then it may be time to enlist professional help.
With these tips, you should be able to easily remove a sparkling wine stain from your bikini. Just remember to act quickly, be gentle and keep the soiling to a minimum.
