White vinegar can be used to clean sparkling wine stains from backpacks as long as the fabric isn't too delicate. To use it, start by blotting up any excess liquid with a clean cloth.
Once the cloth is saturated, pour a liberal amount of white vinegar onto stain and let it sit for several minutes. Then, using a clean cloth or sponge, gently rub stain in a circular motion until it's gone.
Once the stain is gone, rinse the fabric with cool water to remove any remaining vinegar. Allow the backpack to air dry before storing it.
This method is best for delicate fabrics like satin or silk. Start by blotting up any excess liquid with a clean cloth. Then, mix a solution of 1 teaspoon of mild soap and cold water.
Dip a clean cloth or sponge into the solution and gently rub the stain in a circular motion. Once the stain is gone, rinse the area with cool water to remove any remaining soap. Allow the backpack to air dry before storing it.
Baking soda is great for cleaning sparkling wine stains from backpacks. Start by blotting up any excess liquid with a clean cloth. Then, pour a generous amount of baking soda onto the stain and let it sit for several minutes.
Once the baking soda has had time to absorb the stain, use a clean cloth or sponge to gently rub the stain in a circular motion. Once the stain is gone, rinse area with cool water to remove any remaining baking soda. Allow the backpack to air dry before storing it.
