Baking soda is one of the most helpful substances for cleaning up sparkiling wine stains. First, mix baking soda and water together until you create a paste-like substance. Then, apply this solution directly to the stain with a clean cloth. The baking soda should help break down the stain, so scrub gently at the area using a circular motion. Once you feel the stain is coming off, rinse with clean water and dry with a soft cloth.
Windex is also an effective tool for cleaning up sparkling wine spills on appliances. Simply spray the Windex on the stained area and let it sit for a few minutes. Once it has had time to work its magic, clean the surface with a damp cloth until the stain is gone. You may need to repeat this process several times if the stain is particularly stubborn.
Ammonia is a powerful cleaning agent and can quickly break down sparkling wine stains. Mix 1 part ammonia and 3 parts water together in a container and then apply this solution directly to the stained area with a cloth. Once the stain is gone, thoroughly rinse area with clean water and dry with a soft cloth.
White vinegar can also be used to remove sparkling wine stains from appliances. To use white vinegar, mix equal parts white vinegar with warm water in a container. Then, apply this mixture to affected area and leave it to sit for around 5 minutes. After the allotted time, rinse the area with clean water and dry with a soft cloth. The stain should be gone after this process.
