If you spot a sparkling wine stain before it has had time to set in, grab a damp cloth and press it on the affected area. This will help to lift and absorb some of the stain before it has a chance to set.
Once you have blotted stain, rinse the affected area with water. This will help to remove any remaining stains.
For more stubborn stains, mix equal parts white vinegar and water and treat the stain directly with this solution. Allow the vinegar to sit on the stain for several minutes, then blot area with a damp cloth and rinse with water once more.
If the stain persists, wash item according to the care instructions provided. To be safe, always test a small, discreet area of the item before applying detergent directly to stain.
And remember, if all else fails, never be afraid to enlist the help of a professional launderer. They may be able to remove the stain where you can't.
