When it comes to removing sparkling wine stains from Abercrombie & Fitch clothing, it’s important to act quickly. Sparkling wine is made from both acidic and sweet components, which means that the stain will set quickly if not treated right away.
The first step to dealing with a sparkling wine stain is to gently blot up as much of the liquid as possible using a clean, dry cloth or paper towel. Be sure to avoid rubbing the stained area or pressing down hard, as this can cause the stain to spread and make it more difficult to remove.
Once the excess liquid has been removed, combine a small amount of mild detergent with lukewarm water and use this solution to lightly spot clean the stained area. Gently work solution into the fabric using a soft-bristled brush. Do not rub fabric too hard or it could damage the fibers.
Once stain has been treated with detergent, it is time to soak the fabric in a mixture of hydrogen peroxide and water. To do this, mix together one part hydrogen peroxide and two parts cold water, then submerge the fabric in solution and let it sit for 30 minutes. Once the soaking is complete, rinse the fabric thoroughly with cold water.
After soaking the fabric in the hydrogen peroxide solution, the next step is to launder the item according to the directions on the care label. When laundering Abercrombie & Fitch clothing, it is important to use a gentle cycle and a mild detergent to avoid damaging the item.
