Things You'll Need

  • Toothbrush
  • Warm soapy water
  • White vinegar
  • Baking soda
  • Cotton swabs
  • Soft cloth

Step 1: Prepare Your Cleaning Solution

Mix together warm soapy water and a few drops of white vinegar. This will help break down the soy sauce and make it easier to clean off your watch.

Step 2: Apply the Cleaning Solution

Using a toothbrush, gently scrub the affected area of your watch with the cleaning solution. Be careful not to apply too much pressure as this could damage the watch.

Step 3: Rinse and Repeat

Rinse away the cleaning solution using a soft cloth or cotton swab. If the soy sauce stain is still present, repeat steps 1 and 2 until it is removed.

Step 4: Baking Soda for Extra Cleaning Power

For particularly tough stains, mix baking soda with water to create a paste. Apply the paste to the stained area and let it sit for 10-15 minutes. Then, using a toothbrush, gently scrub until the stain is removed. Finally, rinse the area with warm water and pat dry with a soft cloth.

Additional Tips

  • Always use a gentle cleaning solution designed for watches.
  • Test a small area first before applying solution to the entire watch.
  • Be careful not to scrub too hard as this could damage the watch.
