As soon as possible, dab soy sauce stain with a paper towel or any other absorbent cloth. This will help prevent stain from spreading and will also absorb some of the excess liquid. Do not rub, as this will push the soy sauce further into fabric.
Create a pre-treatment solution by combining one part detergent with four parts of warm water. Dip a clean cloth into the solution, and then blot stain to saturate it with the cleaning solution. Let the solution sit for 5-10 minutes before proceeding to next step.
Rinse area with cold water by pouring a small amount onto the stained area. This will help breakdown soy sauce and help remove the residue from the fabric.
Use a stain remover specifically designed for removing soy sauce from fabrics and spray it directly on the stained area. Then, let it sit for 5 minutes before blotting with a damp cloth. Avoid rubbing area as this can damage the fabric.
After following the previous steps, you can now wash the fabric in warm water. To avoid making the stain worse, do not use hot water or any additional detergent. After washing, allow the fabric to air dry.
By following these five simple steps, you can quickly and easily remove soy sauce stains from Tussah fabric. With a bit of patience and the right supplies, you can make your Tussah fabric look like new!
