When wearing traditional clothing, it's important to make sure that any accidental spills do not damage or stain your garment. However, soy sauce can be particularly tricky to remove due to its strong staining properties. If you're stuck with a soy sauce stain on your traditional clothing, try the following steps:

Step 1: Blot the Stain & Pre-Treat

The first step is to gently blot the stain with a paper towel or clean cloth. This will help to absorb the excess soy sauce and prevent it from sinking further into the fabric. Once the excess liquid has been absorbed, pre-treat stain with a laundry pre-treatment spray or liquid detergent. Allow the pre-treatment time to sink into the fabric and work on the stain.

Step 2: Apply a Stain Remover

Once pre-treatment has had time to set, apply a stain remover specifically designed for removing soy sauce stains. Follow the instructions carefully, and be sure to test the product in an inconspicuous area of the clothing before applying it to the stained area.

Step 3: Launder as Usual

After treating the stain, wash the clothing according to its care instructions. For best results, use a high-quality laundry detergent. Rinse the garment thoroughly and inspect it for any remaining traces of the stain before drying.

If the stain persists after laundering, repeat the steps until it is completely removed. With these tips, you should be able to keep your traditional clothing looking as good as new!
