Start by rinsing the lenses and frame with cool water to remove any excess soy sauce. If you have a soft cloth, use it to gently wipe away the stain. If not, you can take glasses off and rinse them in your sink.
Add a few drops of dish soap to a bowl of lukewarm water. Mix until suds begin to form. Dip a cotton swab in the solution and test it on an inconspicuous area of lens. This will give you an idea of how the soap mixture will react on the lens.
Once you’ve determined that the soap mixture is compatible with your lenses, dip a cotton swab in the solution and gently rub it over the stain until it comes off.
Rinse lens with cool water to remove all traces of the soap mixture. Make sure the lens is completely clean before moving on to the next step.
Finally, use a soft cloth to dry off lens. Do not use paper towels or other rough materials, as these may scratch the lens.
Follow these five steps to easily remove soy sauce stains from your sunglasses. With a bit of patience and the right cleaning materials, you’ll have your lenses looking squeaky clean in no time!
