Step 1: Blot the Stain

The first step is to take a clean cloth and gently blot stain to absorb as much of the soy sauce as possible. Be careful not to rub the stain; instead, just press down lightly with the cloth.

Step 2: Make A Paste

Once the excess liquid has been removed, you'll need to make a paste with equal parts baking soda and water. Gently apply this paste to the stain and let it sit for approximately 15 minutes.

Step 3: Rinse and Launder

Next, rinse paste off the sundress with cool water. Then, launder the dress in the washing machine with cold water and mild detergent. Once it's finished washing, check the stain to make sure it's gone. If not, you may need to repeat the process.
