Steps to Remove Soy Sauce Stains from Spandex
- Mix a solution of one part liquid detergent with four parts water. Do not use hot water as this might set the stain.
- Soak a cloth in the solution and dab it onto the soy sauce stain.
- Let the cloth sit on the stained area for a few minutes.
- Rinse off the cloth and dab the area again.
- Use a brush (with soft bristles) to gently scrub the area.
- Rinse the area with cool water.
- Repeat the process if the stain persists.
Tips to Prevent Staining
- Avoid wearing light-colored spandex when eating foods that are likely to leave a stain, like soy sauce.
- Wash spandex immediately after eating to avoid stains.
