As soon as you notice a soy sauce stain on your silk gazar fabric, begin the stain removal process right away. Blotting up as much of the soy sauce as possible before it has a chance to soak into the fabric will help you get rid of it more easily.
Once you’ve blotted up as much of the soy sauce as possible, you need to create a cleaning solution to remove what’s left. You can make an effective stain remover by mixing 1 teaspoon of dishwashing detergent with 1 cup of cold water. Lightly dampen a white cloth in the solution and blot the stain with the cloth.
If the stain persists, apply either lemon juice or white vinegar directly to the stain. Both of these acidic liquids can help break down soy sauce molecules and loosen the stain. Let the liquid soak into the fabric for 10 minutes, and then rub it gently with a soft-bristled brush.
After treating the stain with the lemon juice or white vinegar, rinse the affected area with cold water, and then wash the fabric according to the care instructions provided. If the stain is still present after washing, repeat the stain removal process until the stain is gone.
