Before you start cleaning, you need to gather a few supplies:
The sooner you treat the stain, the easier it will be to get rid of it. To treat the stain, turn the shorts inside out and place them inside garbage bag or wrap them with plastic wrap. Next, apply the stain remover detergent to stain. Allow it to sit for five minutes.
Once the stain has been treated, put on the heavy-duty rubber gloves and gently rub the stained area with cold water. Blot area several times until detergent is completely washed away. Don't scrub too hard or you could damage the material.
Finally, lay the shorts out flat on a towel and let them air dry. Once they are dry, check area for any remaining stains. If the stain is still visible, repeat the steps above until the stain is gone.
To keep your clothes free of soy sauce stains, always make sure to cover up your clothes when you're eating. You may also want to keep a pack of stain remover detergent handy just in case.
