Use a clean cloth, paper towel, or napkin to blot away any excess soy sauce. Don’t rub it into the fabric - gently blot, lifting the stain away from the fabric.
Mix one part dish soap with one part white vinegar. Gently dab this mixture onto the stained area. Then, use a toothbrush to gently scrub the fabric for 30 seconds or so. Let the fabric sit for 5 minutes.
Rinse the fabric under cold running water, then repeat steps 1-2 until the stain is removed. Be sure to rinse the fabric thoroughly between each application.
Once stain is gone, it’s time to launder the shirt as you normally would. Check clothing tag to make sure that fabric can be washed in a machine. Your shirt should come out looking good as new!
