To begin removing soy sauce stains from your scrubs, the first step is to blot the stain with a damp cloth or paper towel. Blotting helps to absorb some of liquid, so it doesn’t spread further into the fabric.
After blotting the stain, you’ll want to pre-treat the area with a stain remover made specifically for soy sauce. Follow instructions on the stain remover packaging – you may need to allow the pre-treatment to sit for a few minutes.
Once you’ve pre-treated the stain, it’s time to wash your scrubs. Be sure to read care label first to determine best water temperature and washing method. Then, use a mild detergent and launder as usual. For extra stain-fighting power, consider adding a pre-soak product to the washing machine.
Once your scrubs are finished in the washing machine, double check the areas with the soy sauce stains to make sure they’ve been completely removed. If any remnants of the stain remain, repeat steps 2 and 3 until the stain is gone.
