Soy sauce stains can be pesky and hard to remove from your robes, but they don’t have to stay there if you know the right methods to tackle them. Here is a step-by-step guide that will help you get rid of those soy sauce spots.

To begin, blot any excess soy sauce off of the robe with a soft, dry cloth. Take care not to rub the stain in even further.
Once you’ve blotted the stain, apply a liquid detergent to area and let it sit for about 20 minutes. This will help loosen the stain and make it easier to remove.
Put the item in a washing machine with your normal laundry detergent and wash on a gentle cycle. You may want to use a color-safe bleach or oxygenated cleaner to help remove any remaining stain.
When the cycle is finished, air dry the item. Do not put it in dryer as the heat could set stain.
Once the item is completely dry, check to see if any of the stain remains. If so, you can repeat above steps.
