Pre-Treatment Instructions

Before you start to tackle the stain, make sure that your garment or accessory is machine washable. If it’s not, take it to a professional dry cleaner. You should also test any cleaning solutions in an inconspicuous area to make sure it won’t damage the material.

Removing Soy Sauce Stains from Prada

  • Dab soy sauce stain with cool water and gently blot the area with a paper towel or white cloth. Don’t rub, as this will push stain further into the fabric.
  • Mix a few drops of liquid dishwashing detergent with 1 cup of cool water. Dip a white cloth into the mixture and apply it to stain, gently rubbing the solution into the affected area.
  • Rinse area with cool water. Repeat steps 2 and 3 until stain has been completely removed.
  • If stain remains, mix together 1 tablespoon of white vinegar and 2 cups of cool water. Apply the mixture to the stain and rinse with cool water. This should remove the last bit of the stain.
  • Once the stain has been removed, air-dry garment or accessory or place it in the dryer on a low setting.

Caring for Your Prada

To keep your Prada looking its best, it’s important to follow all care instructions. Most Prada items are machine washable, although some may require dry cleaning. Be sure to check the tag before washing!
